Rebecca Sharp



RS has been awarded a Literature Matters Award from the Royal Society of Literature, in support of her forthcoming poetry project, Rough Currency: the poetics of oil and the imagination. Publication with Tapsalteerie, 2020/21 - more details about the Award here.



RS has co-edited an anthology with Scottish PEN (as Trustee) and Scotland Street Press, to mark the 700th anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath: Declarations on Freedom for Writers and Readers. You can find the publication here.  



RS has received support from Playwrights' Studio Scotland's Professional Workshop Programme to develop her new play, Lines of Bearing.  



Commissioned by Edge Hill University over the course of a residency in 2018-19; the book Peripheral Visions: Edge Hill Arcana is available now - new writing and conceptual maps.
